America: Life, Liberty, Happiness

Our U.S. Constitution stems from our Declaration of Independence which references “Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The U.S. Constitution was constructed in such a fashion as to have the least amount of law in order to protect ones naturally born individual unalienable rights, maintaining civility within our nation with the least amount of government intrusion.

Individual natural unalienable rights, means no one can take any of those rights away unless the individual(s) agrees to it. We lend not give away some rights to a structured small government to maintain a stable environment for all.

We are not a pure Democracy but a representative Republic, meaning the people have representatives from their cities, towns, state and at federal level to represent the peoples will. To have pure Democracy only leads to mob rule leaving out people who may have their natural rights encroached upon, so we elect representatives to govern. This ensures the greatest opportunity of preserving naturally born rights for everyone.

Our nation is unique from the rest of the world because our framers of the U.S. Constitution, which fought a war with England, threw off an all-powerful centralized government. We left England’s grasp at a heavy cost in lives in order to regain our freedom from centralized tyranny, returning control of our natural rights that was mostly taken away.

Your natural rights of life, liberty and happiness are the baseline by which we all naturally operate from. Understanding these rights we elect representatives to oversee and protect those rights.

Today we are facing the result of 100 years of Progressive centralized over controlling elitists at the federal level that have instituted controls that have degraded too much of our natural rights.

Today there are some who call themselves Nationalists. A Nationalist fixates only at our federal level in our nation as the most powerful and that is not how our U.S. Constitution was constructed or agreed to by the original 13 colonies, Colonies which became our first states of the United States. The federal level is supposed to be limited in power; not so today.

The individual in America must be awake and always engaged in government business at all levels so it does not draw too much power to itself, as it has done so today.

There is a growing danger today by many that do not understand our structure of government which is meant to prevent all power going to a central government. To lean on such centralized power (Nationalist) invites tyranny; remember Nazi Germany?

So how did we get here? Because the people did not understand nor did they have the time to stay focused on people that would abuse their power; busy with common living.

Our Constitution was written in such a skeletal fashion of laws that it demands the American people stay focused on government at all times. The Constitution was built for limited government. Stay focused on your government or it will stay overly focused on you!

America: Oh what it use to be!

There was a time, at least in my lifetime and my grandparent’s life when you could leave your doors unlocked during the day.  From days gone by your personal best at work mattered, no matter what your pay was.  A picnic along with block parties for just about any reason was a great event to be had by all.  Children playing outside until dark from the east coast to the west coast and all in-between. Today picnics and celebrations are fewer. Constant locked doors and the daily sound of fewer children playing outside along with the frequent emergency sirens.  Something is missing from those days; just isn’t the same when I was younger.

We have become a nation of entitlements, a nation focused more on self rather than as a patriotic citizen of a once great nation and where abundant morality is hard to find.  We have allowed ourselves to be bought by the politician via entitlements and focused ourselves more on personal pleasures rather than service to our fellow man, community and nation.  Yes, there are those who reach out to people in need within the community; but this need has grown exponentially due to little desire to better oneself.

So who opened the door to a land of entitlements?  President Franklin Delano Roosevelt did by expanding the General Welfare clause of the Constitution ushering in Welfare during 1935. Welfare has done more damage to the nation than he could have ever imagined. His New Deal fostered in Social Security which most know by now is nearly bankrupt.

Our national pride is being fractured by various ethnic groups crying out to be recognized with a special identity other than as Americans first.  Diversity has made our nation great and that is the secret to our greatness, but we unite as a single nation under the title of American! United we are not!  An America where children are not allowed to learn from failure and to always share in the prize thus enables them for an even harder failure later in life.

Today entitlement programs are the norm and larger than ever before. Diversity is taught in our schools more and more instead of national pride and unity. Where liberalism/socialism is destroying the nation and the Pledge of Allegiance as one nation under God is hardly said anymore.  Bit by bit our identity as Americans first has been chipped away, assimilation as one America is frowned upon and where personal integrity and morals are a thing of the past.  Personal liberties are given up even more so today to a government in return for a soft tyranny.  If allowed to continue this soft tyranny will lead to a nation of people which will only serve the State interests.  America where have you gone?  America, oh what you use to be!

My Home My Family

I think of America as a very large home filled with a very large extended family of American citizens; many good some bad. And in my home, your home, are people of all color and ethnic backgrounds that bring a large variety of good things to the melting pot of American life. What has made America great in the past has been that Americans became Americans by throwing off the shackles of other governments and assimilating as one people; this has been our strength. But today we have been splintered into factions which are a weakness that places not only Americans at risk but the security of our nation as a whole.  If Americans can think in the manner of “my home, my family” we would as a people be far better off and the door of a better future can swing wide open once again.

Trump and Cruz Supporters

Tyranny RisingHave you ever said to yourself…”I will live to fight another day” when you lost? Well, if Trump, Cruz or someone else comes out of that Republican Convention as the nominee, guess what I will do… “Live to fight another day” by voting for the Republican nominee, even if it is not the Will of the voter during the Primary as a plurality of the most delegates. The alternative of not voting for the Republican nominee (no matter whom) in the General election will absolutely assure there will be another Democrat/Progressive/Socialist operating our government apparatus as Obama had abused. Effectively finishing off this free nation and more of the same right down to a Depression! What could happen if the Republicans lose this election could lead to riots and martial Law (Suspension of the U.S. Constitution and your rights) maybe for all time

I am for and endorse Ted Cruz because he is on point time after time and succinctly articulates what he will do. Example: Closing down the IRS, eliminating Common Core (which dumb down our children) Flat Tax, E-Verify (I suspect mandatory rather than voluntary by employers) to self deport the Illegals; build the Wall along our southern border that was passed and funded in 2006 and the list goes on.

But, again if he (Ted Cruz) is not the nominee I will not stay home and I will vote for whoever comes out of that Republican Convention this summer as the nominee. “I will live to fight another day.” Will you?

Honor and Virtue: The keys to good government

It is honor, and virtue that is sorely missing in our nation today, for that matter the entire world. There is a streak of dishonesty that dots the landscape in our nation. We face a leviathan of assaults and threats to our freedoms from men and women that hold power positions that we gave them. The sad part is, many of those men and women took power in government with the express purpose of taking from many while giving it to others and they were open about it. Many of our people could care less where money comes from as long as they are on the receiving end.

Honor and virtue is vacant from our government today all across the nation from the ground up. Good people are needed who have the qualities of honesty and virtue who realize that they serve the people and that the people are their rulers. Good government listens to the people and performs within the bounds of their Charters, State Constitutions and the U.S. Constitution. The people should realize that government is a necessary instrument to ensure civility and that their freedoms are protected. Lawmakers should also realize that it is the people they serve not the other way around.

When honor, and virtue disappear from the landscape, so too will our liberty. The hour is late and I pray the people will “see” their pending doom and turnaround before it’s too late.

United We Stand – Divided We Will Fall

Though there are varying opinions on “What, Where How and When” about America’s dilemma on liberty we have to…like the Beatles song touts…”come together right now, over me” (Let’s call “me” America…shall we?): Must get us old folk in the right mood.

Conservatives of all strips must come together and stop sweating the “small stuff” while in some circles many call it the “big stuff”. However, it is good to have polite debate on varying levels of disagreement. But, make no mistake the more we are divided the weaker, as a whole, we become when it comes to winning our country back. Lefty loves it and for sure will “stir the pot”. Lefty will keep the division going as much as possible and so will progressive republicans.

At the end of the day “we have to come together” as one, our liberty depends on it! No more “it’s not my guy and I will not give a penny or vote for him or her” and the non-conservative wins!

The 2014 election season is just around the corner and new and incumbent candidates will be popping up all across this great landscape.  It is time now to start watching and listening for those that don’t fall into the “progressive category” of big government. Remember, many republicans have fallen into the progressive line-up of potentials and it is those so-called conservatives that must be exposed and avoided.

Mr. Karl Rove and his gang of progressives are busy as bees collecting information from voters to plant in the platforms of so-called conservative candidates they will be funding in 2014. With beautiful “song” for the conservative ear to listen to and fall in love to a trap; beware.

In the 2012 recall election effort of Governor Scott Walker, the Republican National Committee (RNC) and a column by Karl Rove in the Wall Street Journal believed it was the RNC that saved Walker from losing his seat. However, it was the Tea Party Patriots of Wisconsin that pulled this save off. (It’s the Tea Party Brainless!).

Put the differences aside and concentrate your efforts working towards a more limited government. Then after conservatives have it all, at least at the federal level, we can work towards the problems that face us as a nation.
